Londoni latogatas/ London visit

Mint eddig minden evben, az iden is ellatogattunk Londonba. Elso nap ahogy kileptunk a szallodabol, Chris eszrevette, hogy alig 100 meterre vagyunk a Somerset House-tol ahol a UK osszes szuletesi, hazassagi es halotti bizonyitvanyat tartjak nyilvan. az udvara ilyen szepseges, es Isabelle kulonosen elvezte a szokotuban valo szalaldgalast.

We went to visit London once again. It was very lovely to be together and do all sorts. One of the highlights was the somerset House for me. Isabelle especially enjoyed the fountain.

Masodik nap a Westminstertol lehajokaztunk Greewichbe . Gyonyoru volt a nap, es micsoda szep hely!!!

The next day we got the boat which took us down to Greenwich village. What a gem that place is! We loved it.

Book Club: The Crysalids by J. Wyndham

Weird.
I don't think I'll read any of his other books...
What I find impressive though that he wrote it in 1955 and it is qiute scary. I guess a writer dosen't really have to put high tech stuff into a story it to make it scary and very sci-fi ish. If you know what I mean... Anyway. Would I recomend it? Sure, go a head and get yourself a few disturbed hours.
It just really wasn't my cup of tea.

Bookclub: The help

I just finished The Help by Elizabeth Stockett. It is set in the 1960's Southern America. 3 black maid and a white woman's life changes forever in this story. I really enjoyed it, it is gentle and funny but grabs hold of the truth about those times very well. Not very fast pase but still wants you to read it. I couldn't help but really get to like some of the caracters. Loved it.
