Halloween

Halloweenkor mindeki beoltozik valami ilyesztonek es a gyerekek korbekopogtatjak a hazakat edessegert. Az iden kitalaltam, hogy izgalmasabba teszem a dolgot, es a haz elott felallitottunk egy asztalt es dobozokban tettem zselet, egy karfiolt, spagettit es rizst. A gyerekeknek belekellett dugni a kezuket es megfogni ami benne volt. De nem tudtak am, hogy mi van benne!! A karfiolea azt mondtuk, hogy Frankenstein agya, a zsele emberi maj, a rizs kukac, a sapgetti pedig giliszta. Volt am sikoltozas!! A farol logattam fankot, amihez csak szajjal lehetett hozzaerni es ugy kellett megenni. Chris kek fennyel vilagitoota meg a hazat, es meg ijeszto zene is volt. En boszorkanynak oltoztem be.

This time ay Halloween we jazzed things up a biy and I made a stall outside of our house. I set up four boxes and put scary thing inside that the kids had to touch. A cauliflower was Frankenstein's brain, jelly was human liver, rice was maggots, and spagetti was worms. Welll...there was screaming all right. It was great fun and all the kids seem to have enjoyed it.

Olaszorszagi utazas/ Italian visit

Nem is tudom mennyi ido utan vegre talalkoztunk!!! Isabelle es en elrepultunk Vicenza-ba ahol ot napot toltottunk egyutt. A gyerekek azonnal osszemelegedtek es sokat jatoszottak. Zsuzsi es en pedi beszelgettunk, vasaroltunk, beszelgettunk, foztun-ettunk, es meg tobbet beszelgettunk. Majdnem harom evi lemaradast kellett bepotolni!!! Magyon szives vendeglatasban reszesultunk, az ido gyonyoru volt, es a harom fiu sarmos. Elokoszoneskor Giacomot alig tudtam lehamozni magamrol! Konnyek kozt talalkoztunk es konneyek kozt valtunk el, ami a talakozas sikeret mutatja!! Remelem, hogy hamarosan ismet talalkozunk!

What a fabulous 5 days we spent in Italy at my sister's place. Isa and I went over to see her and her, Emanuel and her 3 boyes. What a great little family! We had a fantastic time which we are plannin on repeating soon!

Az elso eskuvom /My first wedding

Egyik vasarnap megkertek, hogy orgonaljak a Linda es Manuel eskuvojen, ami a kovetkezo szombaton volt. Meg soha nem orgonaltam eskuvon, de be kell valljam, hogy a sok gyakorlas es izgalom ellenere jo moka volt es minde siman ment.

What an honour it's been to play at Manuel and Linda's wedding. They are an absoluteley adorable couple and I was fortunate enough to not mess up their big day with my organ playing. It went very well actually and we had a blast afterwards when we danced to Fire in the belly!!!

Isabelle balerina

Isabelle elkezdte balettorarkra jarni. Nagyon szereti, es nem csak balettot, hanem stepet is tanulnak!

Isabelle has started to take ballett lessons. She absoluteley loves it!

Nezhetek Tv-t? / Can I watch TV?

Nincsen fotom, de ezt le kell irjam. Minden reggel amikor Isabelle felebred, az az elso, hogy megkapja a kakojat es bekapcsoljuk a TV. azt nezi egy kicsit es igy indul a nap. Amiota viszont elkezdodott az iskola, sajnos a TV nezes elmaradt, mert kulonben soha nem indulunk el. Az elso het gondoltam nehez lesz, mert csorog az ebresztooraja, aztan bejon hozzank es az elso kerdes: "Nezhetek TV-t?" Termeszetesen a valasz minden reggel : "Nem." Aztan jono a siras, ami ugyan hamar abbamarad, megsem a legkellemeseb kezdete a napnak. Igy megy ez miota megkezdotott az iskola, meg egyik reggel kerdezni ugyan kerdezte, de nem volt nyigas utana. "Na vegre!-gondoltam magamban- vegre leesett neki a tantusz"

Masnap reggel ismet bejon szokas szerint es kerdezi: "Nezhetek TV-t? " Mondom neki, hogy "gyere bujj ide a mami melle eloszor" Od is kuporodik mellem, es kerdezi ujra: " Nezhetek TV-t?" odafordulok hozza, es csendesen megjegyzem: "Tudod Isabelle , hogy megbeszeltuk, hogy iskolai reggelen nincsen TV nezes" Erre odanyomja az arcat az en arcomhoz, es jo hangosan: "AKKOR MA NEM AKAROK ISKOLABA MENNI!!!!!" Ja! Mert az ilyen egyszeru.....

Maga a szitu eppenseggel vicces volt, senki nem sirt, inkabb csak nevettunk egyet.

Azert azt emlitenem sem kell, hogy se TV-zes nem volt, sem pedig otthon maradas, so azota is minden reggel ugyanugy kerdezi: "Nezhetek TV-?"

Every single morning starts the same way is our house. Isabelle's alarm clock goes off, she comes in, asks for her cocoa and asks if she could watch TV. Since school has started though, the answer has been the same: "No" Then tears come which die out quickly but somehow it is not my preferred way to start the day.

Last week one morning she came in once again and asked for the TV and of course we said no. And there was quiet and we got on with the morning routine. It was very refreshing... What a great result- we thought, it seems that we cracked it. It finally sunk in!

Well. It didn't. The next morning she came in again, and as usual she asked the too well known question: "Can I watch TV?"

I thought: Not again! So instead of an answer I invited her into bed to snuggle with me. Then she asked again, so instead of just saying no, I said: "you know that on school mornings you can't watch TV" I could kinda feel the fury rising in her. she squashed her face against mine and shouted: "I DON'T WANT TO GO TO SCHOOL THEN!!!"

Yeah right...like that's gonna happen... So we had a laugh about it and the day carried on.

And do you know what happened the next morning? she came in and asked: "Can I watch TV?"
