Vicces szaj / Funny lip

Minden jol alakul az isabelle szajaval, a nagy csunya fekete varrok kezdenek szepen levalni. Olyan vicces, mert minig minden beleragad. Tegnap peldaul tonhal darabok alltak ki belole, ma meg olyan mintha pottyos lenne, mert az antibiotikum amit szep feher szinu es mini granulatum formaban van, igy amikor reggel veveszi a joghortjaval, marad a szajan egy ket szemcse, es egyszeruen nem tudom lemosni. Nem merem dorzsolni, ugyhogy most pottyos a szaja! sajnos fotot nem enged magarol kesziteni, ugyhogy csak elkepzelni tudjatok!!

Everything seems fine with Isabelle's lip, it is healing slowly but surely. It is actually quite funny, because at the moment it is covered with a thick black scub (not sure how to spell that but you'll know what I mean, it's the dried blood) anyway...where was I? Oh yes...so things, mainly food get stuck in it. Yesterday for example some tuna flakes were sticking out of it, and today she has a dotty lip. Her antibiotics is in a powdery form that just stick to her lip like magnet. i don't dare to scurb it too hard, so it just stayes. It is funny and cute, and I am sorry that I can't show you a picture, but she won't let me take any...

Opearcio/Operation

Megvolt az operacio ami miatt annyira aggodtunk. Ezen a heten hetfon Levett Isabelle hamangoijanak 70%-at. sajnos nem tudtak tobbet levenni, mert eleg sok pici izom van kore tekeredve, igy ami megmaradt, azt kivarjuk, hogy elmuljon magatol, vagy esetleg a jovoben meg egy operacioval megprobaljak majd levenni. Minden jolment hetfon, nem volt gond abbol, hogy az op. elott 6 orat nem ehetett, nagyon ugyesen kibirta. Az altatas is jol ment, az ebredes mar kevesbe, de mivel tudott enni es inni, igy hazaengedtek a korhazbol meg aznap este. Azota sajnos viszont nem mennek tul jol a dolgok. Isabelle osszeszedett egy borfertozest a korhazban, ugyhogy most antibiotikumot kell szednie, ami nem olyan egyszeru, ugyhogy ez sok aggodalmat okoz. A szaja verzik, es jelenleg vastag majdnem fekete varral van boritva. De azert remeljuk, hogy minden jol fog vegzodni.

Isabelle had the operation on her lip, vhich went really well. She was a treu superstar, and behaved really well despite not being able to eat for 6 hours before surgery. The op went well, Mr Platt did a lovely job, but only could take 70% of it off, so the rest will either go, or will need another surgery somtime in the future. I truly hope not though...

At the moment things aren't great, it keeps bleeding, just a bit here and there, but it still makes it look quite unpleasant, it's covered witha thinck nearly black scab. She has also picked up a skin infection, so we're fighting her every time she has too take a medicine...it's very upseting. but eventualy it will be worth it all..

Kulon jo volt, mert miota itt elek most eloszor apa es a baratnoje Ida eljottek latogatoba. Egy hetet toltottek itt, ami nagyon gyorsan, es nagyon kellemesen telt. Mar mindenki volt itt, csak a Kondor csaladot kellene ravennem valahogy, hogy kicsabuljanak vegre latogatoba!!!

It was really lovely to have my dad and his partner of 5 years at our house for a whole week. It just went too quick. We did some nice thing together, visited places, worked in the garden, chated and had fun. At these times only I get sad that I live so far from home. But nevertheless we all had a great time with them!!!

...jo sok minden tortent. Anya es apa kulon kulon latogatoban voltak, melyeknek nagyon orultem. Anya igazibol a szulinapi bulira jott, ami nagyon nagyon jol sikerult, koszonettel Chris zenekaranak, a Fire in the belly-nek, es kulon, hogy megtanultak a Muse: Supermassive Black Hole c. szamat, amire aztan mindannyian ropptuk. A vegen levettem a cipomet, hogy pihentessem a labamat, es nem tudtam visszavenni!!! Sajnos foto nem nagyon keszult, mert el voltam foglalva a tancolassal, Chris meg egesz este dobolt!!! Micsoda buli volt!

....a lot has ahppened. My mum and my dad came to see me (separately) which was really nice. My mum came really for my birthday party which was a fantastic do!!!! Thanks to Fire In The Belly, which is the name of the band Chris plays in. They were terrrrific, to me especially because they learned my favorite Muse song: Supermassive Black Hole. We all danced a lot, but I especially enjoyed the bit when my friend Leilani and I managed to sing a bit of the song. Unfortunateley I have only a few photos.... the thing is that I was too busy dancing. It was such a fun night!!!

Bookclub: John Boyne: The boy in the striped pajamas

This children's book was a different kind of read. It is written from a 9 year old boy's point of view set in the Nazi Germany. This boy's father is made a commandant so they move onto the doorstep of the Auschwitz camp. He has no idea what is going on around him, but feels embarrased by the way the people around him are treated... He befriends a jewish boy from the other side of the fence which friendship leads to a tragic and ironic end of his life.

When Isabelle will be old enough I will definiteley recomend this book to her. I think that children need start to learn young about the truths of WW2. It is especially important in out family since both of isabelle's grandparents have served in the war in the Royal Air Force and they are still both with us. So their direct experience with the war makes it even more real and makes our family very grateful for the freedom we can enjoy in this country due to their and many other people's sacrifice of that time.

Szulinap/ Birthday

Elerkezett a nap amikor belepek a harmadik X-be. Az gondolom szugsegtelen emliteni, hogy 22-nel egy perccel sem erzem amagm idosebbnek.... Szombaton buli lesz, ahova meghivtam csaladtagokat es a barataimat, es ami a legjobb, hogy Chris zenekara fogja szolgaltatni a zenet!!! Mar alig varom!!

Well, the day has come when I turn 30. I don't feel any different from being 22 though....I'm having a big bash on Saturday with family and friends, which I am really looking forward to it because Chris and his band is going to play. Live band!!! So exciting!!!!

Hemangioma Hirek/ Hemnagioma News

Ezen a heten volt idopontunk hogy az operacio elotti dolgokrol jobban felvilagositsanak minket. Hat mit ne mondjak, ez minden volt, csak felvilagositas nem. Sajnos sokkal tobbet nem tudtam meg azon kivul, hogy reggel 7.30 utan mar isabelle nem ehet, 11.30 utan nem ihat, es delutan 1.30-tol kezdodnek a plasztikai operaciok, ugyhogy szegeny gyerek akar delutan negy oraig is lehet etlen szomjan... Most egyenlore ezen goldolkodunk, hogy hogy legyen, hogy esetleg felebresszuk hamarabb aznap reggel, es hagyjuk had egyen amit csak akar fel nyolcig, vagy menjen minden a rendes kerekvagasban....ez a legnagyobb aggodalmam. Mast nem sikerult megtudni, mert allitolag az ajakon levo operacio olyan ritka, hogy a nover nem tudott pontosabbat mondani. Mindenestere Isabelle tudja, hogy valami keszulodik, mert el sem engedett egesz ido alatt, ugy kapaszkodott a nyakamba, kintha az elete fuggott volna tole.

This week we had to go to the hospital for our pre op consultation which wasn't very useful as far as finding out what is going to happen during and after the surgery. What we know is that on the day Isabelle only will be able to eat up to 7.30 am and drink up to 11.30 am and the operation will be taking place from 1.30 am but could be anytime in the afternoon. Now that will be tough to keep her occupied and explain that she can't eat or drink. We still don't know any more, the nurse couldn't answer any of my questions because plastic surgery is in a different hospital, but because that does not have a peadriatric unit she'll be done in Hull Royal, but this means that they very rarely see facial surgeries on little ones. We're getting nervous...well... I am a wreck already, but I know it will all go well...I just wish it was all behind us now.
