Imadom Stephenie Meyer Alkonyat sorozatat. Sajnos magyarul meg csak az elso kotete jelent meg, de barki aki elolvassa, lathatja majd, hogy szinte keptelenseg lesz kivarni a sorozat tobbi reszet. Ha a filmet is megnezitek, akkor ajanlom, hogy eloszor a konyvet olvassatok el, igy a tortenet varazslatos marad. We spent Boxing Day with the compelted family at Roses lovely little house ( where she has new tiles on her kitchen wall which she has done herself!!!! Great job Rose! and a fabulous new floor throughout the kithen diner) She has prepeared us some yummy things and she also had an endless suply of choccolate logs! (I wonder which choccolate forest has suffered greatly as a result of the Richardson family's log consumption...) And there were also all sorts of activities going on, like....

After playing all morning with our new toys, we went out for a walk on the Westwood to work up some appetite. We are ever so blessen with such a wonderful place so near to our house. We had a great time.

Szenteste/ Christmas Eve

Az iden megtalaltuk a legeslegszebb karacsonyfat. Igaz egy kicsit tul magas, es olyan csalen all a csicsa, hogy nem tudtunk ra csillagot tenni, de nekunk igy tetszik a legjobban. Szenteste vacsorat foztem, es karacsonyi dalokat enekeltunk.

This year I recon we have found the most beutiful tree in the whole wide world. It is rather tall, and has a funny top , that's why there is no star on it, but we just love it as it is. On Christmas eve I cooked tea and we sung chirstmas carols together.

The other day I was bathing Isabelle, and while she was in the bath, she was chattering away. And this is what I heared:

Hemangioma hirek/ Hemangioma news

Vegre sikerult annyit kihuzni a korhazbol, hogy az operaciot garantalni tudjak az ev elso ket honapjaban valamikor. Emiatt az ovit Isabelle majd csak aprilis vegen fogja kezdeni. Amint valami kozelebbit tudunk, szolunk!!!

Finaly we got some more info about Isabelle's operation. They said they can guaratnee that it will be done in the first two months on the new year. Therefore Isabelle will start pre school after the spring half term in April.
As soon as we know more, we'll let you know!!!

Uzanet/ Message

Elnezest kerek mindenkitol, aki varta, hogy irjak, de egy hetig nem volt telefonunk, es termeszetesen emiatt nem volt internet sem.
A mult het vegen Londonban voltunk, Chris szulinapjat unnepeltunk, es az utlevelemet csinaltattam, mert lejart.
Nagyon jol ereztuk magunkat, a varosban igazi karacsonyi hangulat volt. Muzeumban voltunk, meg kulonleges karacsonyi vidamparkba mentunk. Sajnos kepeket nem tudtam kesziteni, mert elfelejtettem a fenykepezomet, de sokat filmeztunk, remelem, hogy hamrosan azt is le tudom majd tolteni, es egy-kettot fel tudok tenni a blogra.

Sorry for anyone who was trying to get in touch via phone on e-mail, but our landline was down, which is fixed now so you can all catch up with what's bee happening in the past few weeks.
We went to London last weekend to celebrate Chris' birthday, stayed over in the Waldorf, and got extremeley lucky to be upgraded to a deluxe room. We just loved it!!! Isabelle had a great time, in Hyde Park Corner's Winter Wonderland and also in the Science museum. We had a birthday lunch at Hard Rock cafe, so we did have a very special time. Bond Street is beutifully decorated and some of the window displays are exquisite but the shopes seemed to be rather empty. Oxford street was buzzing though. My camera wasn't with me but we had the camcorder, so watch this space for some footage soon!!!

Nincs kep, csak irok/ Without photos

Gondoltam irok egy kicsit. Nem baj, hoigy nincsen kep, majd csinalok azt is, de leirom, hogy miujsag nalunk.
Meg mindig nem hallottunk semmit Isabelle operaciojarol, pedig mar masodszor is felhivtuk a korhazat. Azt mondak, hogy legyuk turelemesek. Csak hat nehez turlemesnek lenni, amikor a szaja mindig be van repedezve, log rajta a bor, amit allandoan piszkal, igy verzik is. nem valami szep latvany.
Amikor legutobb vasarolni voltunk, vettem tojast. Ugy az ember mindig megnezi, hogy meg van e mind a tartoba, meg hogy nincsenek e eltorve. Ezt ez en is megteszm minden alkalommal. Erre most a legutobbi vasarlasnal megszolal Isabelle: En is megszagolom!!! A kis okostojasom azt hitte, hogy szagolom amikor ellenorzom a tojasok eppseget.

I just wanted to write a few things that are happening in our house at the moment.
There is no news yet about Isabelle's lip operation, which is frustrating a bit becaue her lip is very dry, and she has really started to pick it which ends in bleeding and generally not a very nice sight. Bless her...
I have a funny story though. Whenever I buy eggs, I check them. Isabelle can see me opening the box and then closing it again then placing it in the trolley. Well, last time we went shopping, I got eggs again, and checked them the same way. Then she said: I smell them too mummy! It was so funny....
Christmas countdown has started, but I refuse to stress this year. On Christmas day we'll be at Simon's and Boxing day at Rose's, so I won't have to work too much. We'll be providing the entertainment and games. We're also keeping presents low key, especially for Isabelle, she is getting lovely things, but nothing huge, so we can concentrate on the true meaning of Christmas. I am looking forward to just being with Chris and her and play with her toys, paint, sing and walk on the Westwood.

Hoemberek / Snowpeople

Nehany nappal a hoeses utan reggel Isabelle nagy izglommal ebresztett, hogy megint esett a ho. Kineztem az ablakon, de lattam, hogy csak fagyott, de a fu azert feher volt. De a gyermek annyira izgatott volt, hogy ki kellett hogy menjen vele az apja hoembert epiteni. A derbol..... ket kis emberket sikerult epiteni es mivel arnyekban voltak, tuleltek masnap reggelig!!!

After the snowfall was long gone, Isabelle came to wake me on a SATURDAY (!!!)morning telling me that snow was covering the garden. Sadly it was only frost, however it did not make any difference to her, so once again I kicked Chris out of bed to go and build a snowman with our well over excited offspring. So they did (credit to Chris) And here is the result. Some snow people. Or rather frost people.

On Sunday morning we woke for a lovely snowfall. This is the first time really when Isabelle is aware of it, so quickly before Church daddy and her went for a round of fun in the snow.

Ezen a hetvegen egy Pickering nevezetu kisvarosba latogattunk, ami hires a gozmozdonyarol, es ahol minden evben megrendezik az 1940-es evek beli hetveget. Ilyenkor mindenki feloltozik a 40-es eveknek megfelelo ruhakba, es az egesz varosnak olyan harobulbeli hangulata van. Egy ket kepet feltoltok, es latni lehet, hogy mennyi mindenki feloltozik, hol katonanak, hogy pilotanak.
Az ido gyonyoru volt, jol ereztuk magunkat.

This weekend we were off to Pickering to the 1940's weekend. We had so much fun. So many people were dressed up! Next year maybe even we will!!

Ki mit tud? - Talent show

Ki mit tud ? volt a gyulekezetben penteken, es en is beneveztem. Volt sajat asztalom, ahol kiallithattam, hogy miben vagyok ugyes. Ott van a fenykep albumom, amit keszitek a csaladunkrol, mezes pusszedli, mert szeretek sutni, a ruhacska amit varrtam, es amit kotottem, egy keresztszemezett kep, egy tarsasjatek ami varrtam, es Isabelle egyik kepe is ottvan, amit o festett. Chris is behozta a komposztalo dobozt, amit o csinalt, de annak a kepet valamilyen oknal fogva nem tudom feltettni a blogra. de mindenkit biztosithatok, hogy nagyon szep. Barna, meg zold.
Isabelle fel is lepett, a macis dalanak az elso ket sorat elenekelte, utana szegyellos lett, de jo nagy tapsot kapott.

There was a Talent night at Chrurch last Friday, and as a family, we had plenty to exhibit! I baked some Hungarian honey cookies, took my scrapbook, knitting, cross stitching and sewing. Isabelle had her painting on display and Chris had his beehive compost bin that he made himself. It generated quite a bit of interrest.
Isabelle also performed two lines of her Me and my teddy bear song and then she went all shy, but she got a huge applause. It was such a fun evening!

Ha ezek megvannak, akkor osszekevered a kettot, kicsit kuvajazod a tepsit, es 25 percre kb 180 fokra beteszed a sutobe. Akkor jo, amikor a villa eppenhogycsak tisztan jon ki a suti kozepebol. Ezt a fajta sutit nem szabad tulsutni!!!

I like to bake. One evening i made some choccolate brownies, and as you can see, Isabelle has somewhat enjoyed it.

Hemangioma Hirek/ News about the Starwberry

Ez Isabelle egy evvel ezelott keszult kepe, de jol latszik, hogy a cseresznyeje milyen hatalmasra nott. Hetfon a plasztikai sebesznel tett latogatasunkkor Mr Plastic alias Mr Platt ugy dontott, hogy a hemangioma sulya miatt a mielobbi operacio lenne a legjobb. Igy besorakoztunk a varolistara. Ma erkezett level, hogy barmikor johet az idopont, ket hettel elotte fognak szolni. A mutet kb. 45 perces lesz, elaltatjak majd a bebikemet, e magatol felszivodo varratot tesznek majd bele. Majd Isa kap egy jo nagy aldast elotte, es remeljuk, hogy minden rendben lesz.

This picture was taken about a year ago, and you can see it well how huge her hemangioma is. At our most recent visit to her doctor he recomended that we remove it. It is too heavy and not shrinking at all, so my little baby is going under the knife anytime soon. We'll have 2 weeks notice and it will be done within the next 4 months. She shall recieve a blessing from daddy, so she'll be fine, but we are nervous however.

She regularly wears Hungarian to Church. I just wish I could talk her out of holding that pink, blue haired horse that wears a nappy too... uuhhh...
