About two weeks ago we visited a farm with my friend Lucy and her little girl Lydia. We had a great time despite the fact that I only took photos of the two girls. There were animals there too tough!!

Kenneth Cope / Kenneth Cope

Last week Kenneth Cope ( an LDS musician) gave a concert in York, and he is doing a few more gigs around the country. I have always loved his music and it has been great to hear hime live. He is a lovely chap, and even got time for a photo!!

Bookclub

Pam Jennoff: The diplomat's wife
This is the book when Daniel Steele meets James Bond. Not a good combination. It was quite inaccurate at places, she hasn't done her research very well (which is a shame since in her professional life she is supposed to be and expert on that era) I also think just a bit too many people came back from the dead and some of the caracter's encounters lacked imagination... It was ok, but I would only give 5 out of ten.
Lynn Carr: Premonition
I read it within 48 hours. It would have been ebough to make it into a short story. When I was reading it, I kept thinking that I have read it before. Ok but forgetable.

Book Club

It looks like I read bboks more often than update my blog. I read these books recently:

The lovely bones which I thought was horrid

The five people you meet in heaven by can't remember who, but it was good.

The Wednesday letters by Jason F. Wright. It was real sweet.
At the moment (this has nothing to do with books) I am sooo excited because tomorrow night I'm going to a Kenneth Cope concert to York with my friend Lucy and I can't wait!!! ( I just had to write it down)
And that my nephew (on Chris' side) John got his mission call to Dublin, Ireland mission. We'll miss him so much but we know that he'll be the most fantastic missionary!!! Go John!!

Kerti Parti / Garden Party

On Friday we were invited to a graden party to Jenny's. Sha has made a real effort, and put on a fabulous spread. Very posh tables and food with lovely music in the background. We had to all wear hats a dress up nice just like if you were at the Queen's garden party. Here are a few oictures how lovely we all looked.

Meggyogyultunk / We're all well

Kigyogyultunk a sertes korbol.
We're all well now. It wasn't as scary as the media made it out but we're pleased that we're all good. We missed Brody's priesthood thing in Hlaifax last week, which was a great shame, but never mind, Kenney and the family are still around and we'll see them this weekend.
