Nyaralas iskola elott / Last holiday before school

Gondoltuk mieott elkezdodik az iskola, meg elszaladunk egy ket ejszakas kempingre Ullswaterhez. Ejjel hideg volt, mindannyian egyutt aludtunk, de nappal gyonyoru ido volt.

We had an idea to go up to the lakes to Ullswater for a couple of nights before Isa starts school on Wednesday. It was cold during the nights so all three of us snuggled up in the same bed but during the day it was glorious and we had a great time.

Nagy tojas / Big egg

A tyukicaim gyonyoru tojasokat tojnak. Mielott bekoltoztek a lanyok, a szupermarketben midig kozepes meretu tojasokat vettem. Azok pont bepasszintottak egymas melle a hutoben levo tojastaroba. Miota Jenny es Polly tojik, csak egyesevel lehet betenni a tojasokat, mert olyan szep nagyon, hogy nem fernek el egymas mellett. De ez a legutobbi eredmeny monden elvarasomat felulmulta. Egyik nap Polly ult legalabb masfel orat a feszken. Mar azt hittem, hogy elveszett. Mikor elojott, felmentem megnezni, hogy mi produkalt, es az eredmeny...hogy is mondjam: hatalmas volt. Nem tudom a foton mennyire latszik, de az egyik tojas ketszer akkora mint egy atlagos. Mikor feltrtuk, ket sargaja volt benne.

Look at the size of the egg my chicken laid!!! The normal eggs they lay are large, I can't fit them into the eggbox in the fridge next to one another but this didn't even stand a chance to fit anywhere near it. It was just huge! Polly was working at it for hours bless her. Eventually when we broke it there we two huge yolkes in it and it was yummy. So well done to my hen!

Bookclub: The Hunger Games

Wow! What a book. The Hunger Games by Susan Collins. It has been highly recommended by Jenny and she did not tell me what it was about. Neither was I allowed to read the sysopsis. Well. I totally understad whuy. It has been an interresting read. I started to realize that I am an extremeley fussy reader and if the book doesn't grab me on the first 20 pages, I don't persevare. (My time is just too valuable to waste any more on it) Having said that, this had a good pase and was written well. But the story!!(Spoiler comig up!) The concept of having to kill each other for food and all this being watched on the TV is kinda sickening and somehow did not uplift me. I have finished it because I will be recommending it for book club this week in Jen's name but there is one thing for sure, I will not be reading the rest of the trilogy. One ordeal like this is plenty for the rest of my life.

Oh. In the meantime I started the Lost art of keeping secrets by Eve Rice which has lost me in the firts 20 pages all right. It was just boring and some of the caracters I did not warm to so no success there either.

With Nagyi being here, we took the opportunity and had a few BBQs which we just loved!

I just couldn't let them go without saying something about them. Rick, Jen, Ali, Ricky, Robert and Brooks all have been a great part of the ward and pretty much everyone's life one way or another. They were just fabulously easy going, funny, energetuc, great example and so storng in the Gospel. 4 years of the taught me no to take life so seriously. It has been an honour to know them and we'll all miss the greatly!!!
