London

Az iden is voltunk Londonban egy hetveger, de sajnos a fenykepezom hianyaban nincsenek kepek. Csak a kameraval tudtunk fenykepezkedni, de mire arrol Chris leszedi a kepeket jovore lesz.

We had our annual London trip this Christmas too but there are no photos of yet because I thought I lost my camera and the only pics we have are on the camcorder so it could be some time before you see them.

This is my first ever Christmas cake which I didn't only bake but iced and decorated too. So pleased...

Havazas / Snowed in

Sajnos csak most tudok irni mert harom hetre elveszett a fenykepezom, es csak most tallatam meg Isabelle dolgai kozott. Szoval december elejen lesett a ho. De meg hogy. Ezalkalommal meg en is megertessel neztem a korulottunk novekvo panikot es kaoszt (amiben termeszetesen mi nem vettunk reszt) Az egyhaznak koszonhetoen elelmiszer van itthon mindig elegendo, a tyukok tojnak, a tejet hozzak minden reggel, es innen igazibol mindenhova el lehet jutni gyalog. Igaz az iskolat bezartak harom napra, de Chriszre nagyon buszke voltam, mert o minden nap elment dolgozni, es szerencsere epsegben haza is erkezett.

Well...who else had fun during the latest snow fall? We loved it, and it did not stop us having fun, goin to work or have great meals (fortunateley I do follow the phophet and have a healthy stor cupboard) School closed though - yipeee- for three days so we had a great time.

Felix

Isabelle egsz pici kora ota szerette a cicakat. Mar egy ideje gondolkodtunk,, hogy legyen e macska a hazban, es vegul arra jutottunk, hogy elobb utobb valamilyen kisallatot valasztani kell, igy jobb, ha most letudjuk. Igy jutottunk el Felixhez, egy alllat menhelyrol, ahol nagyon jo gondjat viseltek. Felix 1 eves, es mar majdnem ket hete velunk van. Isabelle erkezese ota szinte nem nez TV-t, csak Felixszel jatszik.

I can't even believe it but we've got a cat!! He is from RSPCA and called Felix. They wer ever so helpful and recommended Felix for Isabelle. He is one, and very lovely. Isabelle loves playing with him, and barely watched TV since he arrived. That must be a plus!

Judit es Jozsi / My Auntie and Uncle

Judit egy hetet, Jozsi pedig nehany napot toltott nalunk. Simon 50ik szulinapi partijara jottek, ahol termeszetesen a zenekar szolgaltatta a zenet.

My auntie and uncle spent a few days at ours. They came to Simon's 50th party which of coyrse was a sucsess. how could it not be when Fire in the belly was providing the entertainment!

Jutalom / Reward

Isabelle szeptember ota gyujtogeti a matricakat, amiket minden hazifeladatozas utan kapott. Megigertuk neki, hogy ha betellik a kis lap, akkor valaszthat egy jatekot. Ezt a Barbie kutya uszoiskolat valosztotta es nagyon izgalommal kezdett neki a jateknak. Barbie meg Istentiszteletre is eljott, az egyetlen dolog, amire nem gondoltunk, hogy kovetkezo alkalomra vegyen fel vasarnapi ruhat!!

We promised Isabelle that when her sticker chard filled up, she could have a toy of her choice. Everytime she did the homework she got a sticker, and finally the chart filled up!! She chose the Barbie puppy swimming school. She has been waiting for this moment since September and here it is. She likes it so much that Barbie even made it to Church, the only thing we haven't thought of was the Sunday dress !

Halloween

Halloweenkor mindeki beoltozik valami ilyesztonek es a gyerekek korbekopogtatjak a hazakat edessegert. Az iden kitalaltam, hogy izgalmasabba teszem a dolgot, es a haz elott felallitottunk egy asztalt es dobozokban tettem zselet, egy karfiolt, spagettit es rizst. A gyerekeknek belekellett dugni a kezuket es megfogni ami benne volt. De nem tudtak am, hogy mi van benne!! A karfiolea azt mondtuk, hogy Frankenstein agya, a zsele emberi maj, a rizs kukac, a sapgetti pedig giliszta. Volt am sikoltozas!! A farol logattam fankot, amihez csak szajjal lehetett hozzaerni es ugy kellett megenni. Chris kek fennyel vilagitoota meg a hazat, es meg ijeszto zene is volt. En boszorkanynak oltoztem be.

This time ay Halloween we jazzed things up a biy and I made a stall outside of our house. I set up four boxes and put scary thing inside that the kids had to touch. A cauliflower was Frankenstein's brain, jelly was human liver, rice was maggots, and spagetti was worms. Welll...there was screaming all right. It was great fun and all the kids seem to have enjoyed it.
