Karacsonyfa torta/Christmastree Cake

Fogallmam sincs hogyan felejthettem el feltenni a fotojat ennek a csodaszep sutemenynek. Karacsony napjan en voltam a felelos az edesseger, igy a hagyomanyos Karacsonyi Puding (apa mar nagy szakertoje) es a triful mellett ezt a szepseget is krealtam. Belul porhanyos csokis suti, kivulrol pedig Kim receptje alapjan keszult fincsi maz van. Vagyis inkabb csak volt.

I'm not quite sure what got into me forgetting to put the photo of this beutiful cake on my blog. On Chrismas day I was responsible for the dessert, so besides the traditional stuff like christmas pudding and other yummynesses I created this little miracle. It's a chocolate cake covered with kim's buttercream icing. Yummmm...

Juliusban villamken becsapott az eletembe KIM. Latogato tanitojanak jeloltek ki, de valahogy ugy ereztem, hogy ennek tobbet kell tennem erte. Egyid delelott beugrottam hozza, hogy megnezzem miujsag vele, es attol a naptol kezdve legjobb baratnok lettunk. Nem egeszen ertem, hogy hogyan baratkozhat valaki ossze ilyen gyorsan, lehet, hogy a kezimunkassag szeretete kotott minket ossze ennyire. Sokat tanultam tole varrast, papirmunkat, horgolast es mindenfele ugyesseget. Sajnos csaladi okok miatt baratsagunk nem tarthatott tovabb nehany honanpnal, mivel december 23-an elhagyta az orszagot, hogy regi eletet ujra kezdje Bloomington USA-ban, de remelem, hogy baratsagunk ororkre kitart.

Around July I was assigned as a visiting teacher to Kim. She just arrived from the US and I thought there is someone I could help to settle in. Well...it kinda became a bit more than that. We became dear friends who shared lots in common: scrapbooking, quilting...and actually anything you can call crafts... She is gerat fun and fantastic company. I have enjoyed every day I spent with her. (Especially in her craftroom..there I always felt like a kid in a sweetie shop)

Unfortunateley life got in the way and she had to move back to America which I was extremeley sad about but I do hope that we'll be friends forever.
